Asheville is a full-service station offering two-man service, hospital, industrial, residential, and commercial pickups and deliveries. They offer a full complement of specialized services as well, Inclusive: Inside; Unpacking; Room-of-choice; Setup and assemble; Time specific deliveries to meet install crews; Packing; Banding and shrink wrapping, and Removal of debris from the delivery.
The majority of the freight inbounds daily on dedicated line haul trucks running either from Greenville, SC or from Charlotte, and pick-ups return the same way that evening for routing out of Asheville to Charlotte, or the next morning back to Greenville. Asheville also services the North-Eastern part of Tennessee on a hot-shot/dedicated truck basis.
AVL utilizes a 7200 sq. ft. warehouse for servicing the pick-up and delivery needs of commercial and residential Asheville as well as the far flung surrounding areas.
Equipment includes four 26’ Straight Trucks with lift gates equipped with e-trak, straps, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, four 16’ box truck for getting into those hard to reach mountainous areas, as well as two mid-sized sprinters, and one cargo van.
The line haul Tractor / Trailer is available for some use during the middle part of the day.
Asheville services Areas A-C on daily regulars and D, E, F, as volume or circumstances require.
They regularly run out of state Hot Shots.

Actual Weight or 200 DIM applies, whichever is greater.
Any Pick-up or delivery requested within the immediate next 2 hours will be charged as a 'Special'.
Any Pick-up or Delivery with less than a 2 hour window will be charged as a 'Special'
Any Pick-up or Delivery before Noon, regardless of the length of the time window will be charged as a 'Special'
Any Pick-up or Delivery to a place with no Loading Dock containing any piece 125lbs or more will incur a Liftgate Fee
2 MAN time starts from station departure & runs until return to station, AND attracts an Area 'Special' accessorial.
$100,000 Cargo Insurance is only applicable on freight if a value is previously declared, accepted and charged, otherwise normal Terms & Conditions of Carriage apply.
Insurance charges will increase if additional Cargo Insurance is requested AND formally accepted and charged for (See Terms & Conditions of Carriage).
Overlength Freight Rule: Any shipment containing a piece exceeding 12ft (144 inches) in length will be assessed a $75 'Overlength' Fee, in addition to all other applicable charges.
Any shipment containing a piece exceeding 20ft (240 inches) in length will be assessed a $125 'Overlength' Fee, in addition to all other applicable charges.
Special Service reserves the right to defer transport of such ‘overlength’ freight until suitable space is available on its equipment.
We strongly discourage rugs/mattresses/kayaks and other loose freight that is awkward to move and lacking packaging protection to be tendered to us for transport.
If tendered, we reserve the right to turn down a claim if packaging is found to be insufficient.
